WOOM Brand story

Over the past decade, the parent company of WOOM has dedicated itself to the research and development, as well as the manufacture of high-definition optical filters for interchangeable lens cameras and cinematography systems, accumulating core technologies in the process.

During their long-term service to global leading photography optical brands, the founding team of WOOM successfully transferred this technology to eyewear products in 2022.

That same September, they received recognition from the National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) and were awarded an invention patent certificate (patent number: ZL 2020 1 0680851.0).

Compared to traditional glass lenses, WOOM's innovative CCG lenses feature:

1. A thickness of just 1mm, solving the issue of heavy glass lenses;

2.By combining a tempering technique for glass with a specialized coating that enhances its durability while maximizing its strength performance, the lenses are assured    to be resistant to breakage upon falling.

In contrast to the currently dominant resin lenses on the market:

1.The CCG glass lenses will not be subject to deformation from being installed into the frame and are impervious to high temperatures.

2.CCG lenses provide 8K ultra-high-definition vision, with clear optical characteristics that significantly outperform resin lenses;

3.CCG lenses have super multi-layer (36 layers) coatings on both sides, offering broad protection against harmful UV, blue, and infrared light.

In summary, WOOM glasses ensure a significant leap in core optical quality from the lens material and coating technology used, leading sunglasses and functional lenses back to the era of advanced optics!
